Download a tar.bz2 and install daily, and it has had similar problems for a while now. At first it was intermittent, and starting and stopping X (I run LXDE, using startx from multiuser), or running strace on it, would resolve the issue. But it got worse over time. I tried the chromium browser, and just starting it, and then closing it the moment the little x in the corner became available solves the issue *every* time. I assume there is a library that firefox needs that isn't available until chromium runs and loads it. You could try the same. I am not sure where the problem is. The strace seems to show that it is waiting for something that never returns. A little ray of hope lately is that it is becoming intermittent again. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
