I second shred. Only issue is that if drive is ssd chances are you will not overwrite every sector. Todd, I do not know how old those iMacs are, but some (lampshade) had the drives on the base while others have it behind the motherboard behind the monitor. And some also had the drive soldered to the motherboard.
