I've been rebuilding a server recently with a fresh Ubuntu, and
systemd has been a massive PITA. Gah!
The idea's ok (parallel boot with dependencies and associated service up/down though a single daemon). We've all written them. But when it's going sour, it is remarkably unhelpful. To the point of wanting to throw the keyboard across the room.
If you need help with systemd, feel free to reach out.
I been building solutions on systemd for a long time and happy to help.
Thanks, I may. Cheers, Cameron Simpson <cs@xxxxxxxxxx>
