AFAIK Fefault Fedora Workstation installs don't have sendmail. I know
mine certainly doesn't as there's no need for it, so I wonder why your
system even has it installed.

It was apparently a part of the initial Fedora install on this
workstation a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away:
A long time ago, sendmail was part of the default install.
I still have nightmares about the "Bat Book" and its thousands of
directives.
