Anybody could try another user, from within the GUI session
you normally log in?
-> $ xhost +
-> $ sudo -u onlyoogle -i
-> $ firefox &> /dev/null &
I wonder if Firefox "sees" that sudo and acts - for whatever
reason - differently.
