"Easier" is in the eye of the beholder. Vi is modal, which trips many people up when they first use it. It even trips me up occasionally since the current versions permit certain edit actions even when in non-edit mode. OTOH, Emacs has been called Escape Mode Alt Control Shift for good reason, but one thing I like about it is that it's easy (when you know how ...) to find the key combo for any function, and of course it has always been extensible, something vi certainly wasn't in its early versions. Choose your poison. poc _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
