There should be a record of what failed. When you get to the grub prompt, try ls /usr/bin to see the commands available to you. I think one of those should be journalctl. I think it is possible to switch to another console using Ctl-Alt-F?, and that one of them has logs that you can examine with less. I'm not familiar with the dual boot install, but I think I recall that Windows sometimes uses a fast boot option, and that linux can't find that. I wonder if grub2 is not able to put its records into the EFI partition, and so is aborting. I've used the netinstall CD for fresh install into partitions that I had already created, the custom spoke, and it worked fine. Are you trying to install in legacy bios mode on an EFI system? Just some things to look at. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
