Thanks, Patrick. I have meanwhile done

"dnf install xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-cuda"

However, when I try to compile a .cu program, I get the following error:

$ nvcc x.cu -o x
bash: nvcc: command not found
$

I did search for nvcc, but:

# dnf search nvcc
Last metadata expiration check: 1:18:55 ago on Sun 26 Jun 2022 09:34:42 PM WEST.
No matches found.

Any ideas?
