I understand now. What you call "earth", I call "ground". What you
call "pin", I call "prong". I also haven't seen "mains" used that way
before. When I hear "Mains", I think of a surname. (Decades ago, I had
a friend and co-worker surnamed "Mains". There was also a Christian
ministry leader named David Mains.)
