I don't think this is an issue with Nvidia. I recently tried Wayland
and most of the programs I ran displayed a title bar and nothing else
- this on a system that does not have Nvidia. I think the issue is
that the *program* doesn't support Wayland, and the bit that is
supposed to provide backwards compatibility with X11 isn't
automatically configured.
It must be an NVidia thing. I'm using Wayland with an AMD graphics card
and everything works. Even OBS works now. Any program that doesn't
know about Wayland will use the XWayland server and will work fine as
long they aren't trying to do something special like read other windows.
