I have found was of using dd to build a bootable USB stick from an
iso image.

Does F35 have an graphical tool to do this (preferably will work
under Xfce).
The tool you want is mediawriter. The get fedora download pages
suggest it for windows and Mac, but it is also a great way to make
the usb stick
on fedora itself.

As Barry said Media Writer is one option[1], I never used it to be
honest (so no experience to share). Other option to have `dd` like
result in GUI can be done with gnome-disks[2] which has options to
restore images to disks.

The nice thing about mediawriter is that it manages the downloading,
copy to device, verify copy is good in an easy to use way. I know how
to do all the step download, mount, dd etc, but it's all too much like hard work
compared to mediawriter.

I have installed mediawriter and will be trying it out.

Thanks.

Another possibility is install Ventoy (https://www.ventoy.net/) on a big USB key and then just copy the .iso in the root (as many as there is space) and boot from there. I have a USB with a couple Fedora a System Rescue and some other install stuff, when a new Fed comes out I just delete the older and copy the new, no need to redo the USB. And you can use the USB for your files too, Ventoy doesn't mind.
