Do you have both pulseaudio and pipewire installed? They are supposed to be exclusive, and it is possible to swap between them using a dnf command. dnf swap pulseaudio pipewire-pulseaudio If you just installed pipewire, I'm not sure if the swap takes place, and you might have both pulseaudio and pipewire-pulseaudio installed. Are you using pipewire or do you have wireplumber installed? wireplumber is supposed to be more advanced. Given what you've written, I agree that it is unlikely to be a hardware problem. I have these programs installed and my sound works great. You probably don't need the devel packages, I have them installed because I sometimes compile mplayer from the svn repository. pipewire0.2-devel-0.2.7-7.fc36.x86_64 pipewire0.2-libs-0.2.7-7.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-alsa-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-codec-aptx-0.3.42-1.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-devel-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-doc-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-gstreamer-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-jack-audio-connection-kit-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-jack-audio-connection-kit-devel-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-libs-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-pulseaudio-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-utils-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 pipewire-v4l2-0.3.43-5.fc36.x86_64 wireplumber-0.4.7-3.fc36.x86_64 wireplumber-libs-0.4.7-3.fc36.x86_64 wireplumber-devel-0.4.7-3.fc36.x86_64 They are from rawhide, but they are probably also available in f35. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
