I use starship from the repos, and now that I've convinced work to let me work on Fedora and CentOS Stream basically full time, I'm happy to help maintaining it and other Rust packages. (Been in the SIG for a while but due to other work commitments, have been mostly dormant, my bad). I also agree that updating for every release is impractical -- apart from bumps that happen when other crates it depends on get updated for other reasons, we should probably try to update it when there are significant new functionalities though.
