not okay: full Agreed
to me it's slightly something more then just "ideas"
I get very very upset reading again and again on a "user list" where "helpless" (to make it more transparent) user asking for help confronted with the (for my taste) "condescending" answer: "you are wrong here, go !" only !
this never ever will fit with my understanding of a user list.
I will never ever accept user (in this case: @POC) forcing their policy/rules on a list regarding what's allowed or not even when they're not the admin of that list.
"self-titled authorities" triggering my "toxicity" and then it gets really hard

evolution belong to gnome belongs fedora belong to fedora user list. Period !
Maybe you need to re-read the original email instead of assuming bad intent.

I suggest you ask directly on the Evolution list, as this isn't
specifically a Fedora question and you're likely to get a wider
audience there.

It was a suggestion, not an order. He did not say that the question was
not allowed on this list. His suggestion was intended to help the user
by pointing them to somewhere that would likely be more helpful for
their Evolution-specific question. It was not unrelated to Fedora, but
it was not Fedora-specific.
