In my XFCE4 there > are xfce4-power-manager.desktop, xfce4-screensaver.desktop, > xscreensaver.desktop, even I disabled those from setteings.. That's certainly something I can do - I'm more comfortable on the command-line than otherwise, but more of an old-school admin than knowing how to edit the GUI config files. However, my first thought after reading your suggestion was that it was outrageous and not something I should have to do for such a simple task :-) I clicked the "Menu" in the lower-left, saw that there was a search bar, and typed "screen". It presented me with the Screensaver icon, as well as "Power management", where it showed it was automatically turning off the screen after 30m. I've now disabled that, and will see what happens, but I suspect that's it. It's a real shame that those two apps don't work well together. Thanks everyone for your help. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
