I have a system with a NVIDIA Geforce gt 610 video card. There don't seem to be Fedora drivers for the 5.14 kernel. I see that Debian has a patched version of the 390.144 driver in a .deb package but don't see anything for Fedora. Is there a way to uses the .deb package?
Of course the nVidia drivers aren't part of Fedora, but most folks would get it from the rpmfusion-nonfree repo. According to the nVidia page https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/177153/en-us your card is supported with the 390.144 driver. rpmFusion has the akmod-nvidia-390xx which is at 390.144-3. Have you tried that? The other alternative is to use the nouveau driver. -- On Facebook it is called Vaguebooking. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
