For some time I've been trying to get apache to enable group write when creating a directory. I've tried every method I found by searching the internet: 1) Add umask.conf to /etc/systemd/system/httpd.service.d containing: [Service] UMask=002 This did make is so that files created by apache had group write permissions, but not directories. 2) echo "umask 002" >> /etc/sysconfig/httpd Nothing works that I have tried. Directories written by apache always have drwdr-sdr-x permissions. What am I missing?
