I thought I had seen information on how to uninstall wayland from Fedora 34 - not just switch between xorg and wayland, but actually remove the packages. But my google searches are coming up empty. Is there a way to remove the wayland packages? I don't expect to be attempting to live in a wayland world until Fedora 35 (if then). I know I could leave the packages in-place and ignore them, but my preference is to remove them. FWIW, KDE Plasma on Fedora 34.
What do you think you'll gain by disabling wayland? The "problem" is that dependencies will, if you use the conventional dnf commands, will take the plasma X11 stuff with it. So, are you thinking you'll gain space? Or, do you just want the option of "Plasma Wayland" to be gone? -- On Facebook it is called Vaguebooking. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
