Hi, been running a fresh install of f34 on my laptop for about a week or so with no sound issues and this morning after booting (previous state was shut down) I discovered there's no sound in gnome. Worked perfectly fine last week. Where do I start with the debugging? rpm -qa kernel-\* | sort kernel-core-5.13.16-200.fc34.x86_64 kernel-core-5.13.19-200.fc34.x86_64 kernel-core-5.14.9-200.fc34.x86_64 rpm -qa \*pipewire\* pipewire-libs-0.3.38-1.fc34.x86_64 pipewire-alsa-0.3.38-1.fc34.x86_64 pipewire-gstreamer-0.3.38-1.fc34.x86_64 pipewire-jack-audio-connection-kit-0.3.38-1.fc34.x86_64 pipewire-utils-0.3.38-1.fc34.x86_64 pipewire0.2-libs-0.2.7-5.fc34.x86_64 pipewire-0.3.38-1.fc34.x86_64 pipewire-pulseaudio-0.3.38-1.fc34.x86_64 I've also tried the workaround from https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Common_F34_bugs#Audio_may_not_work_after_upgrade_to_Fedora_34_if_pipewire_was_previously_installed without success. journalctl --user -b --unit pipewire-media-session.service -- Journal begins at Sat 2021-09-25 12:39:32 AEST, ends at Mon 2021-10-04 10:39:04 AEDT. -- -- No entries -- journalctl --user -b --unit pipewire.service -- Journal begins at Sat 2021-09-25 12:39:32 AEST, ends at Mon 2021-10-04 10:39:04 AEDT. -- -- No entries -- I'm very confused at this point :) _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
