Well, there you go, you (most likely) have a problem keyboard. You've already done your tests and found where the fault is. The question is, do you replace it or try and fix it (which may not be possible). I see it's a programmable gaming keyboard model, that would make the electronics a bit more complex, with more possibilities for failure. Also more possibilities for reprogramming its behaviour. Has it been kept clean, any spills? Does it get a lot of bashing in games? Is it plugged directly into the motherboard, or go through a hub. With a complex keyboard, especially an illuminated one, it would use more power than a standard keyboard, and a shared hub might not be powering it adequately. Some motherboards use a hub between it's own sockets. When you see USB sockets bunched in pairs as a one-piece block, those pairs may be sharing a common power supply, sometimes even more sockets might be shared together. Try the keyboard just by itself. -- uname -rsvp Linux 3.10.0-1160.36.2.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Jul 21 11:57:15 UTC 2021 x86_64 Boilerplate: All unexpected mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted.
