In the process to migrate from CentOS 8 to Fedora I saved the definition of various VMs using "virsh dumpxml vm_id > vm_id.xml“ According to the manual I can restore using "virsh define vm_id.xml“ But I get Error: Can’t check QEMU program file /usr/libexec/qemu-kvm: file or directory not found A "dnf provides '/usr/libexec/qemu-kvm*‘“ can’t find a package. Do I miss something? Any idea?
Well, there is no such directory on my F34 system and I run 22 qemu VMs. There is [root@meimei ~]# cd /var/lib/libvirt/qemu [root@meimei qemu]# ls channel domain-10-f31k domain-20-f32k domain-7-frk nvram save checkpoint domain-18-f31k domain-6-f33lx dump ram snapshot I don't know how that matches with Centos. Maybe post you xml file somewhere? -- Remind me to ignore comments which aren't germane to the thread. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
