Right.  I just wanted to confirm that, it would appear, the 30sec is in that service/area.

So far I've not found a configuration file/setting which would tell it "don't look here...".



You're running software raid on the dock drives, right?  Is that the only place you're
using raid?

Does you system have a /etc/mdadm.conf?

I wonder if adding this

       mdadmconf="{yes|no}"
           Include local /etc/mdadm.conf (default=yes)

and regenerating the initramfs would help.
