Hello, I planed to update a multiboot machine (all fedora 32) The "regular" machine is installed on sda4 with /boot/efi on sda3 Thus, I first updated a minimum distribution booting on sdc3 But, I did not have enough room on /boot Hence, I made a rpm -e kernel-core-5.0.16-100.fc28.x86_64 because I did not understand why there was still a fc28 on this distribution. At the reboot, I could not boot properly on any kernel. Finally, I was able to boot on sdc3 with an old kernel 5.7.6-201.fc32.x86_64 I run grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg and tried grub2-install /dev/sda But grub2-install: error: /usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi/modinfo.sh doesn't exist. Please specify --target or --directory. Checking: /usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi is not installed no grub2-efi packages on this machine grub2-efi-x64, grub2-efi-x64-modules are installed on the "regular" machine What do you suggest? =========================================================================== Patrick DUPRÉ | | email: pdupre@xxxxxxx Laboratoire interdisciplinaire Carnot de Bourgogne 9 Avenue Alain Savary, BP 47870, 21078 DIJON Cedex FRANCE Tel: +33 (0)380395988 | | Room# D114A =========================================================================== _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
