Hey all - I seem to be getting the following error message whenever I try to create a group via the web interface: IPA Error 4205: ObjectclassViolation missing attribute "sambaGroupType" required by object class "sambaGroupMapping" I'm not sure exactly what's happening, except that I know I've created groups numerous times before, and never gotten this error message. Does anyone have any ideas?
I'm guessing you're asking about something connected with FreeIPA and/or LDAP. This is rather old, but may offer some clue. https://freeipa-users.redhat.narkive.com/9EBwEuXO/freeipa-as-a-password-backend-to-samba If not, and I am correct about FreeIPA, then maybe asking here https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/freeipa-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/ would be more likely to be helpful? -- Remind me to ignore comments which aren't germane to the thread. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
