I don't think "whine to" is quite the right phrasing.

You need to check with att to confirm that they will do (secondary)
dns for you and if so, the server(s) that your domain is/will be set
up on. They will need to know where the authoritative server is so
they can set up their side to do the zone transfers.

As noted, you should then be able to update your nameserver entries
in your registrar record through some type of interface on their site.
