Thanks, Ed. It seems that ibus-typing-booster is exactly what I am looking for. However, I cannot put it working on my machine. I run ibus-setup and go to Preferences and add the Other -Typing booster input method, but, when I open gedit and write something, no suggestions are presented to me as was supposed. It appears that "Typing booster" is being ignored. Any ideas? I am running F33 and XFCE.
Before using ibus you must first run "im-chooser" to select ibus as your input method. After selection, you'll need to logout/login. With the default preferences you will have a EN (assuming English is your primary language) on the System Tray. -- People who believe they don't make mistakes have already made one. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
