If you don't need much sophistication, you can add to fstab with options: noauto,x-systemd.automount Since it's not a startup time dependency, startup won't hang waiting for it if it's not present. If present, it won't be automatically mounted until the mountpoint is accessed. If you want it to automatically unmount when not being used, also include: x-systemd.idle-timeout="10m" https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemd.mount.html https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemd.automount.html# -- Chris Murphy _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
