Yes Google Translate is correct on the translation indeed it speaks of
a read-only filesystem .
You are correct too , it was a filesystem error and not a database error .
The filesystem in question was the Var partition ( /dev/mapper/F31-F31Var ,
yes it is a Logical Volume ) .
Managed to boot a Fedora 29 installation that i have on this computer on
another hard disk , thought about it ( it has occurred once more ) and
here we are . After an e2fsck , which reported even some I/O errors
among some other stuff ( a lot of inode errors , whatever this inodes
are ) the F33 installation booted normally again .
There is a good chance the storage device is failing. Make sure you have
backups.
