I added --skip-broken but to no avail  . The only work around that i have found this far is to delete cpu-x , do the upgrades and then
reinstall cpu-x ( at my own peril ) .

Am no expert here , so i can't tell you what is going wrong . For reference if it adds to it the list of the upgrades is as follows :

Sidenote , hell breaks loose with that elementary-planner package , whatever that package is . I also noticed it when it was too late that i was upgrading stuff from the updates-testing repository but it should have worked since it isn't the first time am doing it ( have done it a few times since i upgraded to Fedora 33 from Fedora 32 .
