Hibernation is not successful.

This is what I get from 'dmesg':

[  269.976652] PM: Cannot find swap device, try swapon -a

This is the important line.

What does 'Cannot get swap writer' mean ?

It means that the previous thing failed.

This is my output from 'swapon':

$ swapon
NAME         TYPE      SIZE USED PRIO
/fedora.swap file       10G   0B   -2
/dev/zram0   partition 3.8G  27M  100

Do you have the swap file in the fstab?

Is there any more info in the journal? The dmesg shows very little of what is going on.

I remember another very long thread helping you get a hibernation swap file working quite a while back. Can you go over that again and see if there's something you've missed here?
