I don't know. My updates have gone much quicker in comparison.
An old notebook with a single SSD took about 45 minutes to upgrade 2722 packages and an additional
maybe 20 minutes or so to download them.
Another system with SSD took 31 minutes to upgrade 3096 packages with also about 20+ minutes to
download.
In both cases I didn't record the download times and they may have been done when other processes
were taking up download bandwidth.
