Check your log with "journalctl -b -0" or similar, when some gui thing happens and you don't know what it is caused by. regarding the fwupd message: a quick web search shows that this is gnome-software trying to update your firmware and failing. all your problems are probably due to gnome-software. document-viewer and gedit slowness is due to something else using all the system resources in the background: probably gnome-software related. I already told you about alternatives to gnome-software in a previous email so i leave that/this to you. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
