My install of 33 Beta, no longer says Pre-release.
Thank you to all who worked on that.
However, grub still does say "pre-release." I assume that is a kernel thing.
Right ?
I have Version 33 installed on a NVMe in the secondary NVMe slot,
and have one of the lower-speed versions.
I am looking forward to using 33 Workstation, and it may become my
main operating system.
On the hardware side of things, my motherboard is ASUS X570, and
memory is G-Skills. CPU is Ryzen 3 1200AF, and I have no liquid-cooling.
I would say to look for the 1600AF, ( sold out already ?? ), or just wait for
the new series, if you can afford to do that. If I were ever to do a build
again, I would not get a model with a chipset fan. So I would say to get
a good B550, if you don't have a need for the extra PCIe-4 slot. Of course,
if you are using a laptop, or Raspberry Pi-like device, or have a new
$ 8,000 computer, none of that is relevant.
