not entirely true, i chased sound related expertise for a bit, thenn dove in and flew solo.
out of frustration, a fresh install cured it.
I generally like PA, but it has a quirk with Zoom (likely the latter is to blame). Starts Zoom at around 50% of the audio. I miss quite a bit
before I realize that I am the one who can fix my faint sound issue. FWIW, I use the official Zoom client for Fedora (they actually list
Fedora).
