Consider electrical power issues such as a big load (refrigeration, 

HVAC) and overheating (warm weather, accumulated dust on cooling vents and fins).

Do you 

own the wifi router or is it supplied by your internet provider (subject to stealth upgrades)?

I own the AP and I use an untangle firewall server, but comcast owns the cable router incoming to the network
