Hi, I've got a new ThinkPad P1 and want to install Fedora 32 on it. I prepared a USB stick with the workstation ISO from https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/32/Workstation/x86_64/iso/Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-32-1.6.iso . I boot from it and opt to test the media. Testing is very very slow and fails after %004.9 or so. "Faulty media", you'd guess. However the same USB stick passes just fine when sticking it into my older ThinkPad T460p. "Faulty USB port on the P1 machine", you'd guess. However, the P1 machine boots well when sticking to it a Windows 10 boot media (please don't ask me why I have that available). Has anybody seen something like this, or has a clue that would help me put Fedora on my P1? Regards, Dan. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
