Now my udev script touches a file, and a tiny daemon I start when I login uses inotify to wait for the file to be touched and starts RepetierHost from a program already running in the X session. Why this is necessary is a mystery I guess I'll never solve. But it does work now. I plug in my printer and the program starts up automagically again. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
