Am I misunderstanding something? I'm trying to update my local NVidia binary driver for the latest couple of kernels (5.7.10-201.fc32.x86_64 and later), but it's failing to build because: *** Failed CC version check. Bailing out! *** Recent kernels are still all being built with gcc 10.1.1 so far as I can tell (even the latest has CONFIG_GCC_VERSION=100101), but I now have gcc 10.2.1 installed and 10.1.1 is not available (well, not immediately through dnf, I have yet to rummage through caches/archives). Is my system out of sync or are the packages? -- [phoenix@fnx ~]# rm -f .signature [phoenix@fnx ~]# ls -l .signature ls: .signature: No such file or directory [phoenix@fnx ~]# exit _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
