The point is, you do not have to worry about passing parameters which
you seem to be having difficulty with using sudo. Two simple lines. And
that can applied to start and status as well.

I am happy with what I have now. And the mistake was the syntax in the
.conf file, not the passing of parameters.
StartStopEth1 has all sorts of wonderful stuff in it that
