Got it. vbeinfo notices several resolutions at at least two resolutions each: 1920 x 1440 at 8 or 16 bits 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 1024, 1024 x 768 and 640 x 480 at 8, 16 or 32 bits It claims that 1440 x 900 is the preferred mode, but gives no mode number. Note that the first three modes are larger than 1140 x 900. -- Michael hennebry@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx "Sorry but your password must contain an uppercase letter, a number, a haiku, a gang sign, a heiroglyph, and the blood of a virgin." -- someeecards _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
