But I can't figure out how to kick start my WiFi connection.I have restarted the P72 multiple times, with no success. The copperEthernet connection works fine.Any suggestions how to kickstart it? When I try ifup I get this:# ifup ATTxxxxxxxxError: Connection activation failed: No suitable device found for thisconnection (device lo not available because device is strictly unmanaged). What is the output of "nmcli c" and "rfkill list"?_______________________________________________users mailing list --users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe send an email tousers-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFedora Code of Conduct:https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/List Guidelines:https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelinesList Archives:https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Well, for what its worth, My thinkpad E595 just did the same thing. (Fedora 32) Was able to boot to multi-user.target, logged in and the NIC was active and good. Boot to graphical.target failed. No NIC, no bluetooth, no boot. The only way to get it to boot normally was to go into the BIOS. Didn't change anything, even quit without saving. Rebooted and it came up clean. I'm at a complete loss. But it is back now. Looking at what happened, I see that a lot of firmware packages were updated. Not sure why loading BIOS helped. 2020-05-22T15:52:37Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: linux-firmware-whence-20200519-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl100-firmware-39.31.5.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl1000-firmware-1:39.31.5.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl105-firmware-18.168.6.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl135-firmware-18.168.6.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl2000-firmware-18.168.6.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl2030-firmware-18.168.6.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl3160-firmware-1:25.30.13.0-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl3945-firmware-15.32.2.9-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl4965-firmware-228.61.2.24-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl5000-firmware-8.83.5.1_1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl5150-firmware-8.24.2.2-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl6000-firmware-9.221.4.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl6000g2a-firmware-18.168.6.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl6000g2b-firmware-18.168.6.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl6050-firmware-41.28.5.1-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:42Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: iwl7260-firmware-1:25.30.13.0-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:43Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: libertas-usb8388-firmware-2:20200519-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:43Z SUBDEBUG Upgrade: linux-firmware-20200519-108.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: linux-firmware-20200421-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: libertas-usb8388-firmware-2:20200421-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl7260-firmware-1:25.30.13.0-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl6050-firmware-41.28.5.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl6000g2b-firmware-18.168.6.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl6000g2a-firmware-18.168.6.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl6000-firmware-9.221.4.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl5150-firmware-8.24.2.2-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl5000-firmware-8.83.5.1_1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl4965-firmware-228.61.2.24-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl3945-firmware-15.32.2.9-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl3160-firmware-1:25.30.13.0-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl2030-firmware-18.168.6.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl2000-firmware-18.168.6.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl135-firmware-18.168.6.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl105-firmware-18.168.6.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl1000-firmware-1:39.31.5.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: iwl100-firmware-39.31.5.1-107.fc32.noarch 2020-05-22T15:52:47Z SUBDEBUG Upgraded: linux-firmware-whence-20200421-107.fc32.noarch --Brian Millett "Mr. Garibaldi.
