There is always /var/log/firewalld as a starting point.

Then, it is possible that now that nftables is default for firewalld instead of iptables it may be an issue?

I see you responded to your own post.

Maybe falling back to iptables for the time being?

FirewallBackend=iptables

in your config file.

Thanks, this did the trick, for now.

Additionally, somewhere along the process all my rules in FedoraServer.xml got blown away. Fortunately, I had my firewall config backed up, and restored it.

Left the complete dump of the trace in Bug 1836571.

Hopefully we can figure out the incompatibility before iptables goes away completely.
