My comment was about Yahoo getting worse at classifying spam, and you can't adjust it's behaviour, nor disable it. In my case, I see it diverts what it thinks is spam to its own spam folder, which I can only access through their website. When my fetchmail poll drags in yahoo mail, it only drags in what's left in the inbox. I presume Yahoo may also add spam rating headings to mail, and Thunderbird may be looking at them. Or maybe Thunderbird gets its spam detection clues from a common source. Unfortunately, out of the many "this is spam" clues, one of them is a lot of messages from one source.
