I have heard lots of funny things about using backgrounds and seen a
few. Watch hair disappear and reappear. Same for a moving bottle of
beer (this from a Prof at Cambridge after a virtual pub evening).
This is getting really off-topic, but you need a good solid background
color behind you for this to work well. Something like a green or blue
screen (or any other color depending on what you're wearing).
