So, it will probably be hard to determine why it wasn't removed when it should have been. One would expect that you probably did updates to the kernel between kernel-5.3.7 and kernel-5.5.15 and that early kernel will continue to exist. One does have to ask, at some time did you modify /etc/dnf/dnf.conf to exclude that kernel?
