I have not yet seen a wiki or place where it is super easy to find acronyms that are used in writing by some Fedora developers in random articles:
Here are some examples, ( some of which may be obscure or just informally used to simplify an article or antiquated or obsolete, etc. ):
AMA = Ask Me Anything
CFF = Contributor-Friendly Font ?? ( Relating to Opentype font, OTF )
CommOps = Fedora Community Operations
Copr = Cool Other Package Repo
GA = General Availability
FAD = Fedora Activity Days
FAmEMEA = Fedora Ambassadors of Europe, Middle East, and Africa
FAmSCo = Fedora Ambassadors Steering Committee
FAS = Fedora Account System
FC = Font Config or fontconfig
FCAIC = Fedora Community Action and Impact Coordinator
FCL = Fedora Community Outreach and Impact Lead
FEMA = Fedora Election Management and Administration
FE-ML = Fedora Extras Mailing List ??
FESCo = Fedora Steering Committee
FOSS = Free & Open Source Software
FPC= Fedora Packaging Committee
FPgM =Fedora Program Manager
FPL = Fedora Project Leader
FUDCon = Fedora Users and Developer's Conference
LGC = Latin, Greek & Cyrillic
( relating to fonts )
OSAS = Opens Source and Standards
PR = Provision Request ???
( relating to packaging )
SHA-1 = Secure Hash Algorithm 1
SIG = Special Interest Group
SCM = Source Code Management
VCS = ?? ( relating to new proposed fonts )
There are probably many more, not counting all the normal Linux and computing software acronyms, and abbreviations to simplify writing or coding or naming of packages.
Brought to you by the boredom of the quarantine
