I'm using NetworkManager. The interface is present, with the correct name, but
didn't get an IP address assigned.
My ethernet port is called enp0s25, change the following command as necessary. Run "nmcli c show enp0s25" to see what NetworkManager knows about the connection. See if there's anything missing.
I would first run just "nmcli c" to see what the name of the connection is. The name is often not equal to the
device.
