(I've tried 6 times in over a day to reply to my 1:03 PM mountain time yesterday post, but they're not getting through. 7th try, this time using the HYPERKITTY rather than Thunderbird.......) > all goes well, after a few hours, I'll update this thread. Basically, the upgrade succeeded. Thank-you, Stan, for the key step. But there are some remaining issues. The xeyes now have ghosts of the top parts of other windows in the background between the xeyes border and the eyes themselves. (I'm not sure what the best word is) at a rather rapid but variable rate, and they're "double" (as if I'm seeing double). I'm in f31, and I'm using Gnome. How do I fix this?
