I know there is a pane in pavucontrol that allows the user to set the default audio device for play. There is also a pane for the microphone. If you set the microphone as default (fallback), it should always be the first choice. I only have one device, so it is automatically the default. Is it possible that the program you are running is configured internally to use a different microphone and it is over-riding the default? _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
