Hi.
In looking to setup a test digitalocean VM, I'm interested in thoughts/pointers to how to setup the layout/partition for the VM
Should diff dirs have their own volume?
IE, some articles I've seen say that
/
, /home
, /boot
, and swap
. are more or less the default dirs created when installing Centos.
I'm trying to understand what the "accepted" dir structure would be/should be for a test server that's used to be an apache webserver.
I'm also trying to figure out the cmds required to ensure the initial harddrive is properly set up. Pointers for me to take a look at are appreciated.
thanks
